Episode 9 is here! In this episode, we get out of the kettle and go into the vines with Telaya co-owner and head winemaker Earl Sullivan. Earl tells us all about what makes his winery unique to other Idaho winemakers and gives us a 101 course on why Idaho is becoming a better wine state and how he uses Idaho grapes as well as neighboring state grapes to create his delicious wines. We go into the barrel and discuss his winery’s unique Turas line and the special connection he and his family have with that yearly release. It’s an awesome conversation!
Brew News is fairly light, with some tips on pairing wine with your Labor Day BBQ and the Spirit of Boise is this weekend, where to catch that and have a good time as well.
Friday Night Pints (8oz edition) has some Telaya wines that Earl was nice enough to leave behind including the new 2022 vintage of Turas and we found more Idaho fest beers, see what I thought about those.
