Bryan came into my life at a weird time. Our head brewer at Edge, Kerry Caldwell, had just gotten injured on the job, and we needed some reinforcements. My suggestion: bring in a hired gun from Utah to get us through our production run while Kerry recovered in the hospital. If I only could have known how wrong I was. Bryan came in and gave it his all. Almost 10 years later, he is a brewer at one of Idaho’s great breweries, making a name for himself with amazing beers and helping Sockeye build the best barrel aging program in the state.
